Les Fontanelles is a spotlessly clean gite with all the amenities. Marleen and Bert welcome you with a smile and open arms. The gite itself is situated in the midst of nature with beautiful views and if you can keep the children quiet, you'll also get to enjoy the unfolding of nature around you. A deer, lizards, a woodpecker and a grass snake passed by during our stay. The swimming pool is large and well maintained. In short, our holiday there was fantastic. Within about 30 km you have Gaillac and Albi, which are definitely worth visiting. And Cordes-sur-Ciel is a gem to visit.

We were at Bert and Marleen's gite for the second time. It has all the amenities and everything is very clean. There is complete peace and quiet and you occasionally spot a deer or lizard. There's also a lovely large swimming pool where you can relax nicely on the sun loungers under the parasol. You can take beautiful day trips to Cordes sur Ciel, Albi, Gaillac and possibly Toulouse. For cycling enthusiasts there are wonderful routes where you can rack up quite a bit of elevation. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Spent a wonderful two weeks with Bert and Marleen who once again received us excellently, striking a perfect balance between helpful assistance when needed and discretion when desired. This was my third stay and it was fantastic again. The swimming pool is more than spacious enough, is always available and well heated on less pleasant days. Marleen provided us with tips on things to do in the area and especially the variety of wine festivals in the evenings, with several happening each week, we made wonderful use of. For the national celebration "Le Quatorze Juillet" she could tell us exactly where to be to have the best spot for the fireworks. A fourth stay is calling.

For the second time (no, not in a row, though it's a close call) we were guests of Marleen and Bert. And do I need to add anything to my review from July 2021? Absolutely! We were able to enjoy Les Fontanelles even more and the warm hospitality of Marleen and Bert. The area was also explored even better than before thanks to Marleen's wonderful tips.

Beautiful stay in an impressive natural setting. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean gite. Super friendly hosts who are there if you need them but do everything to remain invisible during the rest of your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return 👍👍👍

Dear Marleen and Bert. We really enjoyed your beautiful holiday home. Everything you need is there. It's wonderful to lie by the pool with a book or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We did all the excursions you suggest on the website. Only Toulouse by train we didn't do, so that's a nice opportunity to come visit you again. You should be really proud of what you've created.
