We had a wonderful vacation in August at the beautiful domain 'Les Fontanelles'. A very nice spacious gîte, where there were plenty of Dutch comic books and games/lego for the children, as well as lots of brochures about the region. Outside on the terrace and by the swimming pool it was lovely to spend time, plenty of privacy! Apart from the birds you don't hear anything, so peaceful! And every now and then a deer or a cat passes by 😊. There are also many nice medieval villages/castles to visit in the area. The canoe trip down the Aveyron is definitely recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our week at Les Fontanelles. We were very warmly welcomed by Bert and Marleen. The cottage is well-equipped and beautifully maintained. It's located in a very lovely, peaceful area where you can enjoy wonderful walks. A refreshing dip in the pool rounded off the day perfectly. Definitely recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Les Fontanelles. A beautiful, spacious and super cozy gite with all the necessary comfort, located in a quiet and rural setting, right in the middle of nature. The kids didn't let a single day go by without a refreshing dip in the pool. The bbq on our private terrace was also a real plus (cooking and dining outside every day - brilliant!). Thanks to the rural location (without light pollution), you also get an incredible starry sky for free every evening. There's also plenty to see and do in the immediate surroundings - beautiful (medieval) towns with cozy terraces and restaurants, nice walking routes,... Definitely worth a repeat visit!

If you want to escape the hectic pace of life today, Les Fontanelles gîte is the perfect place to be! The gîte is equipped with all modern comforts that make a stay truly pleasant! But even for those interested in history (1 the Middle Ages are omnipresent and 2 the Albigensians) the gîte is an excellent base to discover all that beauty! In the vicinity you have particularly beautiful and noteworthy villages (bastides). Besides, with the information from Bert and Marleen you'll get even further! Rosanne and Chris.

It was a surprise when we arrived at Les Fontanelles: A spacious house equipped with more than all the amenities. Particularly comfortable, one hundred percent complete and tastefully and carefully furnished. In a beautiful and peaceful setting we enjoyed the hospitality of Marleen and Bert. Many interesting villages and towns in the area, beautiful nature and a wonderful swimming pool. We had a really wonderful time, in short a true recommendation!

We were able to enjoy a clean vacation home equipped with all the comfort you need. A good night's sleep thanks to good beds, a gas bbq, a pleasant terrace and a refreshing swimming pool. The owners give you plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. If you love silence, nature and beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!!
