Words fail us. What a lovely welcome from Marleen and Bert, with a drink and a nice chat. The gite is fantastic. Equipped with all amenities, particularly cozy furnished, lovely beds and you feel right at home. So much at home that, with the end in sight, we weren't happy about that end at all. We didn't want to leave. Fortunately we were able to stay a bit longer. We enjoyed the gite, the outdoor space, the swimming pool, the wonderful peace and quiet and also the beautiful views, especially in the early evening light. The surrounding area is also very attractive. Walking, cycling (quite challenging), it's easy to do from Les Fontanelles. The various beautiful little towns are also nearby. No long car journeys needed. From half an hour to 45 minutes. In short, everything was perfect and this holiday ranks at the top of our top 10.

We spent the past 2 weeks as guests with Bert and Marleen in their beautiful gite Les Fontanelles. The gite was completely equipped, super cozy decorated with very good Wifi connection. We really appreciated that the gite was very fresh and clean, lovely made-up beds upon arrival and including bath towels and kitchen linens. The swimming pool was always super clean, good loungers with cushions and a beautiful view. Bert and Marleen have a real talent for dealing with guests, they give you complete privacy and help whenever you need them. Moreover, we enjoyed the wonderful stories of their experiences in French life. It was a super vacation for all four of us. We would love to come back to you again. This is a real gem of a holiday home. Everything we considered important was there: a cozy terrace outside with comfortable garden chairs with cushions, a beautiful and spacious swimming pool with breathtaking views and with good sun loungers and a good parasol. Excellent WIFI, important for our teenagers. Bert and Marleen are very friendly and respect your privacy. You don't have to lug around bed linens and towels and kitchen linens, that's all provided. Nice lounge to hang out in, with a large flatscreen television with dvd (there are also a number of films available). And last but not least: excellent value for money.

Everything was top! The location, the gite and the reception by Marleen and Bert. The gite is very spacious with all imaginable comfort and completely separated from the owners' house. Owners who respected our privacy particularly, but with whom we had very pleasant moments on occasion. The location is beautiful. Very centrally located to visit, in our case for 10 days, all the beautiful things in the surrounding area. Especially directly from the house you can walk endlessly without being disturbed by traffic. Lots of nature with deer, squirrels etc. The warmly decorated gite gets 5 stars from us, not to forget the spacious 10m swimming pool. Bert and Marleen also get 5 stars, for their reception and pleasant moments. Highly recommended therefore. Peter & Solange

We, Willy, Pierre & Marga, received a very warm welcome at Marleen and Bert's excellently equipped gite. The gite is very conveniently located, with beautiful views, to admire the surroundings within a radius of 4km-80km. Highly recommended for everyone.
